Our team’s deep technical knowledge, combined with rigorous testing, ensures superior outcomes and seamless integration into downstream processes, giving you the confidence of a well-engineered solution.
Assist with optimization of profile(s) to take advantage of the extrusion process and its capabilities.
Provide guidance for best alloy/temper selection and/or alloy/temper development to best meet the desired function of the part(s).
Used in Extrusion, machining, stretch forming, robotics and limited crash conditions to ensure high-quality outputs and predictability for our partners.
We leverage Quasi-static energy absorption testing Axial and pole tests to validate FEA and material card data. Used as part of the alloy/temper selection/development and optimization process.
Decades of experience with projects, parts, and developments and help to reduce risk and save up-front costs. “We know a thing or two because we’ve seen a thing or two”.
Impact of Extrusion tolerances on down-stream processes and final product requirements because many post-extrusion processes are performed in-house, the effect to those processes and product requirements are understood and can be addressed early in the product development stage.
Explore how Pennex Manufacturing’s early involvement, alloy expertise, and collaborative design approach can enhance your product's performance and reduce costs.
We emphasize the importance of early involvement in product design to significantly reduce costs and risks. By focusing on the intricate details of part design from the beginning, we help streamline the design cycle, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively. This proactive approach is the best method for optimizing both the design and manufacturing processes, leading to superior outcomes.
With extensive experience in automotive structures and crash management components, we offer unparalleled confidence to our customers. Our deep understanding of the stringent demands of the automotive industry ensures that every component meets the highest standards of safety and performance. Customers can rely on our expertise to deliver solutions that are both innovative and reliable.
We excel in the selection of alloys, ensuring that each material is perfectly suited for its intended function. Our expertise helps dispel common misconceptions, such as the outdated practice of sticking to "how we've always done it." By carefully choosing the right materials, we ensure that products not only meet but exceed performance expectations.
We offer a hands-on, collaborative approach to design optimization, combining simulations with real-world experience to evaluate the pros and cons of various design options. Our one-on-one interactions with engineers foster a cooperative environment, making the design process both engaging and productive. This partnership approach leads to well-informed decisions that enhance overall product quality.
Through our in-house capabilities, we apply Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) to every project, thoroughly evaluating component and subassembly manufacturing options. Our documented process for assessing potential cost savings and other benefits ensures that each product is optimized for both cost and quality. This methodical approach to value engineering demonstrates Pennex's commitment to delivering the best possible solutions to their customers.
