Our comprehensive quality and testing protocols are designed to ensure precision and reliability in every aluminum extrusion we produce.
We conduct axial and pole tests to validate FEA and material card data. We leverage this rigorous approach to inform our alloy selection development and optimization process.
At Pennex, precision is paramount. Our OGP Vision Systems provide live dimensional feedback, allowing us to measure every extrusion down to the thousandth of an inch. We report specific measurements for every part of the extrusion—front, middle, back, and last back—ensuring consistent quality throughout the entire production run.
No two extrusion profiles are the same, which is why our testing methodologies are highly adaptable. Whether it's a complex shape or a standard profile, we tailor our testing to suit the unique requirements of each extrusion. Our Tinius Olsen Tensile Testers and other advanced equipment allow us to perform a wide range of tests, including flare, drift, and compression strength testing.
Quality and traceability go hand in hand. Our Dot Peen Identification system ensures that every part we produce can be traced back to its original log. This scannable identification contains detailed information about the specific part, providing an extra layer of assurance for our customers and maintaining the integrity of our supply chain.
With over ten years of experience in the industry, Tom is your go-to contact for all quality-related inquiries and can provide detailed insights into our processes.
