From raw material to final fabrication, our vertical integration ensures that every step is meticulously controlled, delivering a finished product that meets your highest standards. Because we are vertically integrated, we can engineer and extrude a part that makes the fabrication process easier and more efficient for our partners.
Our advanced machining capabilities include 5-axis machining centers, which allow us to complete most fabrication in a single setup, reducing the need for multiple operations. With equipment like our long bed 5-axis machines and horizontal machining centers, we can handle even the most complex and tight tolerance requirements, ensuring your parts are fabricated with unmatched precision.
Pennex offers specialized capabilities like stretch forming, which allows us to bend T4 aluminum into precise shapes while maintaining material integrity. Our assembly capabilities include robotic fastener insertion, adhesive bonding with heat-curing, and robotic welding. We ensure that every component fits perfectly and functions flawlessly within your final product.
We utilize shop-floor Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) for in-process checks, ensuring every part meets stringent specifications. Our quality assurance processes include crush testing, flare testing, tensile testing, and more, providing the reliability you need for critical applications.
From simple cutting-to-size to 5-axis machining and robotic welding, our team of experts rises to the challenge.
We offer high-speed, tight tolerance CNC machining, including 5-axis capabilities that allow us to fabricate parts with complex geometries in a single setup. This reduces the need for multiple operations, saving time and ensuring consistency. Our machining centers can handle components up to 4 meters, providing flexibility for large and small parts alike.
Our lineup includes automated sawing and deburring, Swiss turning, and lineal processing equipment with up to 60 hp and 30,000 RPM. These advanced tools enable us to deliver precise, high-quality components for a variety of industries, from automotive to aerospace. With our Modig machines, we can process finished parts directly from the lineal form, eliminating the need for additional cutting steps.
With our stretch forming cells and advanced feedback control systems, we can form aluminum into complex shapes while maintaining tight tolerances. This capability is essential for applications that require both strength and precision, ensuring your parts perform under the most demanding conditions.
Our assembly capabilities are designed to integrate seamlessly with our fabrication processes. We offer fastener installation, including SPAC® nuts, bolts, and rivets, with both manual and robotic options. Our robotic welding and adhesive bonding systems provide strong, reliable joints, while our CMM assembly inspection ensures every assembly meets your exact specifications.
Our fabrication process doesn’t end with machining. We offer automated deburring, post heat-treating ovens, and surface finishing services to ensure your parts are ready for final assembly or shipment.
